presented its third annual HEART STRING Award on January 6, 2007 at its 2007
International Car of the Year Awards to honor an automaker and its agency for
the most emotionally compelling car commercial that ran on national television
in 2006. The tribute, sponsored by Bridgestone Firestone Tires, is designed to recognize how well automakers connect
cars and consumers based on lifestyle
and the emotional experience during ownership. The top three commercials in the
category were Chevrolet's "Silverado" by ad agency Campbell Ewald, Ford Mustang's "Father & Son" and Volvo's "Rosi" by ad agency Euro RSCG Worldwide. And the winner is:
