In
addition to normal weekly tests that RTM editors perform on new cars, we also
have the honor of testing new cars on an extended basis, ranging anywhere from
six months to a year. Editors put hundreds of miles on these new vehicles
and write three to four stories on each car's performance over the period they're
driven. This way, you as the consumer get to know what the car is like after the
honeymoon period is over. And trust us, we will tell you straight out what we
like, what we love...and what we don't!
