What's hot in travel for 2007? According to 4,000 travelers recently surveyed on vacationing trends by TripAdvisor, there are plenty of sizzling destinations and travel excursions to be had.

By gleaning their website for several criteria including changes in search activity and postings, TripAdvisor engineers have developed a way to predict the rising stars in travel, as well as those that are losing steam.

So, what are the emerging hot spots for 2007? Pamukkale, Turkey, Marrakech, Morocco and Puno, Peru top the list of trendy travel destinations. And what hot spots have lost their luster? Miami, Honolulu and Acapulco, among others.
