The Wit

The Wit
, a swanky downtown hotspot and hotel near the Chicago Theatre, truly epitomizes the hustle and bustle of the city. Lively and luxurious, it offers the public as much as it offers its guests. With two restaurants, a private screening room, and an extremely popular roof top bar, it's become a part of Chicago's nightlife. The buzz of social activity combined with relaxing amenities like an eco-friendly spa and quirky details like celebrity wake-up calls make for an entertaining and luxurious stay. The best part of all was the room prices, which were surprisingly low for the windy city's typically sky-high rates. Read a full review.

The Westin Michigan Avenue

The Westin Michigan Avenue has everything a visitor to the Windy City could want -- a location on the Magnificent Mile that can't be beat (right across the street from the John Hancock Building), rooms that are pleasing to the eye, great views (of Lake Michigan and downtown) and those oh-so-comfy "Heavenly Beds" -- hotel living has never been so comfortable. We'll definitely be staying at the Westin again.

St. Charles
Hotel Baker has beckoned guests from all shores of the world to the banks of the beautiful fox river since 1928. Each guest room is uniquely appointed with marble-accented baths, custom draperies, plush carpeting and individual climate controls. Many of the furnishing s found throughout the hotel and in various guest rooms are original pieces from 1928. For business travelers, each room and suite offers at least two telephones with voice mail, dataports and a large working desk to serve as an office.

Pheasant Run Resort offers its guests the relaxing atmosphere of a destination resort without sacrificing the easy access of a short drive to the business hub of Chicago. Boasting 45 meeting rooms to fit groups of any size from 10 to 4,000 people, Pheasant Run continues to provide meeting and convention facilities for the Midwest. Its 473 rooms offer travelers a wide range of comforts. Pheasant Run has a  Hair Salon & Day Spa where guests can relax with a facial, aromatherapy wrap or a Swedish massage.
