Courtney Caldwell is the founder, publisher and editor-in chief of ROAD & TRAVEL Magazine. Inspired by her vision in 1988 to empower women with information on automotive and travel topics from which they could make informed decisions, Caldwell started the publication to help educate consumers, give women a voice in each industry, and to create awareness among industry leaders about the growing women's market. Caldwell also serves as executive producer and host of RTM's International Car of the Year Awards held in Detroit each January. DENISE MCCLUGGAGE |
Like the man surprised to learn he had been speaking prose all his life, Denise McCluggage is surprised to find she has been a pioneer. She just thought she was doing things she liked to do- among them drive fast cars and write about those who drove even faster cars. Denise reviews European cars for RTM and was recently named RTM's International Editor. She also contribute's to RTMs travel advice section. She was involved at the inception of Competition Press (now AutoWeek) for which she is a columnist and is senior-contributing editor.
Denise was named and honored as RTMs first Lifetime Achievement Award recipient in 2004. [READ]

ANN JOB |
Award-winning journalist, Ann Job, was the first female national auto writer for The Associated Press and among the first women to cover the Detroit auto beat in the early '80s. She worked as an auto writer at The Detroit News, auto editor at the Detroit Free Press and executive business editor at The Detroit News. She also has written freelance stories for Car & Driver, AutoWeek, Cosmo and a host of newspapers. Ann won a UPI spot news reporting award for her coverage of GM's then-new Saturn auto company in '85. She also won the Ken W. Purdy Award in 1987 for excellence in auto journalism for her work on an investigative series about sudden acceleration. She served as Consumer Editor at MSN's Carpoint website and is currently the AP's test driver of new vehicles. |

Bob Plunkett is a veteran automotive reporter whose articles have appeared in industry and consumer magazines for 25 years. He currently produces syndicated automotive reports published weekly in more than 100 newspapers across America, putting the reader in the driver's seat for a hands-on feel of a vehicle. An adventurer, Plunkett has raced cars, scaled mountains, dived with sharks and ran across entire countries to research his articles. Tom Wuckovich is the Senior Editor for AAA Going Places Magazine, a 2.3-million circulation travel magazine for AAA members in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. He has been a member of the Society of American Travel Writers since 1982 and contributes articles to a number of other publications in the U.S. and Canada. He has won several top awards for his writing from the Florida Magazine Association and is frequently asked to speak to groups and associations on travel and tourism. He has written for magazines such as Cruise Travel and Porthole and contributes frequently to various guidebooks, internet sites and magazines in the US, Australia and the UK.
