New Travel Biz Helps Parents

Traveling with a baby

Two Minnesota women have launched a shipping service aimed at helping parents traveling with toddlers and babies. WWW.JETSETBABIES.COM will ship baby essentials (diapers, food, formula, wipes, bibs, changing pads, etc) to travelers' destination, coinciding with their arrival date. Online grocery stores abound, but this service is the first to have all baby items in one place and which has figured out the logistics of shipping to hotels, resorts, condos, and other travel destinations.

Tighter airlines limits on the size and weight of luggage make it hard to pack a week's worth of diapers. The TSA now recommends travelers "avoid packing food or drink." Parents don't want to make hunting for a grocery store and shopping with travel-weary kids the first stop of their vacation. That's where JetSetBabies comes in. Busy parents will find the site very clean an intuitive, and the ordering process very streamlined.

Parents have long known the advantages of renting baby accessories at their destination; now their disposable essentials can be waiting for them at their destination as well, lightening their load and making their vacation more enjoyable and hassle-free.
