Fun for Women Only! N.
Hampshire B&B Hosts Girlfriends Cinematherapy Weekends with Author Beverly
West
What
do Beaches, Steel Magnolias, The First Wives Club, Thelma
& Louise and Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood have in common?
Legendary gal pals who stick together through fat and thin, and remind us that
the best revenge is a best friend you can count on. Now its time for childhood
friends, old college roommates, and family members that are best friends
to escape from the normal routine for a relaxing Cinematherapy weekend
with Bev West, author of the Cinematherapy series, five sassy and smart
self-improvement titles for women, which has spun into a popular daily television
show on WE, Womens Entertainment and Culinarytherapy: The Girls Guide
to Food for Every Mood. As
Bev West explained, movies are important tools that can draw us together,
enliven our friendships, and inspire us to grow. All this can be accomplished
spending a Cinematherapy weekend with our best friends, and for at least
a few days taking charge of our own remote control. Female
bonding travel experiences are no longer limited to the spa women like
to celebrate life through travel and to be with other women to share experiences,
said Mary Ellen Shields, Innkeeper, Manor On Golden Pond. The
Girls Just Want To Have Fun Cinematherapy Weekend begins with a Friday afternoon
arrival at the Manor On Golden Pond, New Hampshires Lakes Region premier
luxury inn and gourmet restaurant. Women looking for the chance to getaway with
their friends will receive a bottle of chilled champagne that can be enjoyed in
the spacious and elegantly appointed guest rooms or in front of the roaring fireplace
in the inns elegant living room. Friday evening, guests will have the opportunity
to meet during a Welcome Party hosted by Bev West and Mary Ellen Shields. After
dinner, guests can retreat to the Three Cocks Pub to spend quality time with friends
or retire to their guestroom and watch for some private Cinematherapy.
On
Saturday, following a delicious breakfast, guests can choose from a variety of
therapeutic activities including: Dance Therapy Movement for Every Mood;
a Cinematherapy Double Feature or guests might want to explore the Squam
Lake region*, which Hollywood immortalized in choosing it as the setting for the
1981 movie, On Golden Pond, starring Katherine Hepburn and Henry and Jane
Fonda. Depending on the weather, guests can enjoy an array of outdoor recreational
activities; book a massage treatment with The Manors masseuse in the Spa
Treatment Room; play chess in the living room or choose a selection from the Cinematherapy
video library which consists of Bev Wests favorite girlfriend getaway
movies. (CONTINUE...)
